Socio-Legal Internship
About the Organisation
This internship is facilitated by a team of legal practitioners and activists specializing in human rights, constitutional law, and social justice litigation, with a strong focus on caste, equality, and service matters. The organisers bring firsthand experience from institutions like the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, and international forums, combining litigation expertise with grassroots mobilization.
Founded by alumni of National Law University Delhi (NLUD) and SOAS, University of London, the initiative is rooted in rights-based advocacy and policy reform. The team has pioneered student-led movements—such as integrating caste as a protected category in institutional policies—and co-founded study circles like the Ambedkar Periyar Phule Study Circle (APPSC) to advance discourse on social justice, identity, and systemic inequities.
This internship reflects their commitment to mentoring the next generation of lawyers in bridging courtroom strategies with community-driven change.
